Some poems made we yearn for my best friend's hug, I miss her so much.. These stories will stay with me forever. Apr 08, Shivani Mehrotra added it. An awesome repertoire of elegantly described short stories to push your confidence to a very high level and keep you motivated through turbulent times. The book caught my eye because I love books that gives you advice. The conflicts in the book helped me pick out the real friends from the fake friends. The littlest situtations in the book turned out to be more then just little probelms.
- If Horses Could Talk: Tails of Two Mustangs;
- Fated Hearts (A Paranormal Romance Novella).
- Motivated Elements of Sexual Inequality in Margaret Atwood’s Novel The Handmaid’s Tale?
- SLOANE HALL;
- Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul on Love and Friendship by Jack Canfield.
The book encouraged me to be a better friend and girlfriend. The book also taught me to not let little probelms get in my way. Another reason why I liked the book was because it showed that friends aren't always friends you hang around they will always make you laugh, cry, have a shoulder to lean on, an ear to whisper gossip, and to have someone to talk to.
They're from real teens, and they're about the mad crazy, hard and joyful things that really happened to them and their friends. I have no dislikes about this book because I can picture myself in some of the stories because the situtations seemed real to me because I been through some of the probelms. Kids who like taking advice and who can image themselfs in that position.
I have 3 reasons why: 1. I can relate 2.
- The Iron Brigade in Civil War and Memory!
- Biodiversidade e Sustentabilidade da Vida (Portuguese Edition)!
- For the Publics Health: Investing in a Healthier Future.
- Memoirs of an Ex-Hippie: Seven Years in the Counterculture.
I can understand 3. I can image myself This book is great especially if your having a lot of probelms. Chicken Soup has a lot of other books if you have other problems as well. Chicken Soup has books for almost every situtation you can name. May 11, Karen rated it liked it Shelves: These teenager's story are mostly the author's memoirs. In this novel all of the short stories relates to love and friendship themes. Each and every short story is breath taking and you won't be able to forget it.
There are many great quotes throughout the novel. For instance, A sibling may be the sole keeper of one's core identity, the only person with the key's to one's unfettered, more fundamental self. In the back of the novel there are more information about the writers and the short story itself. When I read the book I really enjoyed reading the novel. It gave me many inspiration to life and giving me a lot hope and confidence in myself. Oct 18, Lauren rated it it was ok Shelves: october.
I picked this book because I had been read chicken soup books in the past, and they seemed pretty good. The one thing that bothered me the most, is this book is made from a bunch of different authors putting out their stories.
Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul on Love and Friendship
The book would have its ups and downs. One story would be very well written, and some of them moving, but others would just be plain old boring. Certain writers would use good I picked this book because I had been read chicken soup books in the past, and they seemed pretty good. Certain writers would use good detail, but others would not. I found myself skipping several stories either because the story was not something I was interested in, or because the writing was horrible.
Lots of the stories I found seemed to be missing a few things, like the author hadn't finished it. I think this is because the stories were too short. But, I think this book could be helpful to a growing teen. Dec 12, Rayvyn Helderman rated it it was amazing. So I'm the type of person who loves romantic stories and when I found this book on my book shelf i was hesitant to read it because i didn't think it was going to grab my interest.
So i sat down and opened it up. The first story "The boy at band camp" By: Molly Gaebler. Teen Love, On Relationships: A Book For Teenagers
I don't know why I just didn't. Not my genre I guess. My cousin really likes these books so I figured I'd give them a try. I didn't like THIS one. There might be one of these type of books I might like but for now this one is a one star and I don't reccommened it to anyone.
What i like about this book so far is that it doesn't only have stories but it also includes poems that talk about love and how beautiful it is I think that's one of the things that I like the most there was this story of a girl and boy best friends and they liked each other and never told one another, at the en they do end up together spoiler alert.

I also liked the poems in this book, I'm a big poet fan and I write as well. So if you like books about life and may need advice to help you through it I would suggest the Chicken soup for the soul books. Dec 09, Jasmyne rated it liked it. At first I liked this book but as I got farther into it, I started to get bored. Some of the stories are nice and heartwarming but some of them are just plain out boring.
The authors need to have more imagery. Why read a book if there isn't any imagery?
It's pointless. Dec 01, Ivy-Sue rated it it was amazing. There was some very powerful stories in this.
